Paraíso
In school recess during our first visit in 2002, children play on land
that’s been cleared and leveled for new houses. When they first moved
to their new farm, the community wrote: “Once again, we have land to
work where we can grow food, keep cattle, pigs and chickens; where we can
have a dignified place to live; where we can continue to resist in the
midst of this war and build our project of life.”
